You will require an initial examination and assessment with your chosen dentist. Your treatment needs will be discussed and you will be categorised to assign your monthly fee. You will need to be dentally fit before joining the dental plan.
Dental Care Plan Dentistry@68 care plans provides the benefit of ongoing preventative care and enables you to budget for your dental costs.
Treatment covered:
- Routine Examination & Advice
- Preventative Therapy & Advice
- Radiographs (x-rays)
- Treatment Planning and Advice
- Emergency Call-Out (you are responsible for the first £15.00 of the call-out fee – see Supplementary Dental Injury and Emergency Insurance Policy)
- Restorations (fillings)
- Root Canal Treatment—£50.00 (max) supplement for single use disposable instrument files. Unless referral required
- Routine Scale and Polish
- Basic Periodontal Treatment by Dental hygienist
- All Necessary Extractions—unless referral required
- Provision of Crowns, Bridges and Dentures– excluding all laboratory charges & associated fees
- Insurance Benefits—see Dental Plan Terms of Agreement.
For Terms & Conditions please click the button to the right (fee guide), the contract entitles you to receive all the treatment normally provided by a general dental practitioner to maintain dental health, including check-ups at intervals advised by your dentist, advice, preventive therapy and counselling, radiographs, restorations, root therapy, extractions, scaling and polishing, basic periodontal treatment, and the provision, repair (when possible) and maintenance of prostheses including crowns, bridges and dentures.
Treatment not covered:
- Implant Treatment—including implant crown and bridgework
- Purely Cosmetic Dentistry, Smile Design and Tooth Whitening
- Advanced Periodontal Treatments by Dentist or referral Dentist
- Occlusal (bite) Equilibration/Therapy/Appliance
- Anti Snoring Appliances
- Orthodontic Treatment
- Intra-Venous—Sedation (subject to availability)
- Prescription/Medicine/Drug charges
- Laboratory Fees
- Referral to a Specialist Dentist and Specialist Treatment
- Treatment following dental injury (this may be subject to the insurance scheme element)
- The treatment (if any) which you and your dentist agreed to be excluded at the start of the contract.
- Any treatment which is not deemed clinically necessary/suitable in your Dentist’s opinion
- Treatment carried out anywhere other than at your dental practice and/or by your registered Dentist (except in the case of emergency treatment)
