We’re thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration between our dental practice in Poole and an art gallery in Lymington called Clarendon Fine Art.
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering creativity and culture in our community, we’re proud to showcase the incredible talent of artists, including some renowned names such as Maxim from the band The Prodigy and the esteemed artist Anna Gammans.
Clarendon Fine ArtMaxim, known for his groundbreaking work as a member of The Prodigy, brings his unique artistic vision to our dentist in Poole. Inspired by the surrealism of Salvador Dali and the intricate detail of Hieronymus Bosch, Maxim’s artwork is a mesmerising exploration of texture, form, and emotion. Through his innovative use of mixed media, he invites viewers to delve into a world where reality and imagination collide, leaving an indelible impression on the senses. He creates thought-provoking and emotionally challenging pieces of art and invites viewers to embark on their journey of discovery.
“In music you are always aiming for perfection, you’re never 100% happy. Art is much more liberating than that; even mistakes can be beautiful.” (Maxim)
Maxim has been with the Prodigy since its beginning in 1990 and has toured extensively around the world, picking up countless awards along the way. He turned to art in 2004, but choosing to keep his music and art separate, he exhibited his artwork under the moniker MM. He has become a highly sought-after and much respected visual artist and has met with success at solo shows in London and L.A.
His art interweaves positive and negative elements of society with an unexpected and deeply personal convergence of the shocking and the gentle. Since 2012 Maxim has supported a wide range of charities that are close to his heart, donating artworks to support these positive outcomes.

Find out moreAnna Gammans paints intuitively, using an array of tools, letting instinct take over. She draws inspiration from a diverse array of sources, including the luminous landscapes of J.M.W. Turner, the vibrant colours of Henri Matisse, and the vivid palette of Joanne Corno. Her work is a testament to the power of artistic synthesis, seamlessly blending elements of impressionism, abstract expressionism, and contemporary design. In addition to her visual influences, Anna’s drawing inspiration comes from the elegant lines and sophisticated glamour of David Downton’s fashion illustrations.
Influenced by her artist mother from a young age, Anna gradually began to develop a creative response to her surroundings. This inspiration and works from impressionist masters have helped her to find her unique style and to balance the concepts of free expression with the more formal elements of composition and line.
It is the grouping of colours in a scene that initially attracts Anna to paint, and this visual harmony compels her to create her own image in response. Each vibrant piece portrays the energy and emotion of the environment with what the artist describes as “exploding skies” which release a whole spectrum of radiant and dramatic colours.
Anna has exhibited in galleries in London, Cambridge, and York. She has gained international recognition for her work with Saatchi. She also worked on an interior design project with DAPA and Berkeley Homes at One Tower Bridge and completed a commission for the University of York marking the 50th anniversary of the history department.
