Acne scars are a common concern for many, often remaining long after active breakouts have cleared. These marks can range from indented (atrophic) scars, like ice-pick, boxcar, and rolling scars, to raised (hypertrophic) scars, and can significantly impact skin texture and confidence.
At Aesthetics@68, we offer a range of advanced non-surgical treatments specifically designed to diminish the appearance of acne scars, helping to restore smoother, more even-toned skin. Book your consultation today!

Find out moreWe can effectively treat various types of acne scars, including indented scars like ice-pick, boxcar, and rolling scars, as well as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spots). The best treatment approach will depend on the specific scar type.
Our range of effective treatments for acne scars includes advanced microneedling with the SkinPen Precision device, medical-grade chemical peels and other skin rejuvenation therapies. We will recommend the most suitable option during your consultation.
Using a dermaroller for acne scars helps to improve the skin’s texture by stimulating its natural healing process. The tiny needles create micro-channels that break down old scar tissue and promote the production of new collagen and elastin, which in turn helps to fill in and smooth the surface of the skin.
The number of sessions varies significantly depending on the severity and type of scarring, as well as the chosen treatment method. A course of three to six sessions is typically recommended, with ongoing improvements seen over several months.
Results are typically gradual, as the skin needs time to heal and regenerate new collagen. You may start to see improvements in texture and tone after a few sessions, with the most significant and lasting results becoming apparent several weeks to months after completing your full treatment course.
