Dermal fillers can restore elasticity and volume in your skin, smoothing lines and wrinkles to reverse signs of ageing and give you a plump and youthful glow. Cosmetic fillers provide a hydrating effect, tackling the dull and sagging skin that can occur as we age. Treatment is quick, taking just one short appointment, and can be used effectively on areas including the lips, lines around the nose and mouth, cheeks and more.
At Aesthetics@68, we also offer Ellansé fillers. As well as correcting visible wrinkles, the unique properties of Ellansé work to stimulate your natural collagen production and really treat the underlying causes of facial ageing. Achieve a natural and fresh look, revitalising and firming your skin for a long-lasting more youthful appearance.

Find out moreFacial fillers can be used to enhance a variety of areas, including deep wrinkles, smile lines, the lines from your nose to mouth, and tear troughs under your eyes. Cheek fillers can enhance the appearance of sunken cheeks, and lip fillers can restore plumpness and improve shape. Dermal fillers are effective skin boosters, able to enhance your natural beauty.
Yes, dermal fillers are a popular option for adding volume and smoothing lines in your cheeks and lips. Cheek fillers can enhance cheekbones and fill hollows, creating a more youthful look. Lip fillers can add definition and plumpness to your lips for a balanced and natural appearance.
Lip fillers typically last from 6-12 months, and can then be topped up to maintain your results. Cheek fillers generally last a bit longer, from 12-18 months, before a top-up will be needed.
The recovery time after cosmetic fillers is minimal, and you can usually return to your normal daily activities straight after your appointment. You may experience some redness or swelling, but this does not last long.
Your results from dermal fillers should last between 4 and 13 months, depending on the type of filler used and where on the face it was placed. The effects fade gradually over time, but can be maintained with regular top up treatments, at intervals advised by your clinician. If you decide not to continue with the top ups, the filler gel will biodegrade in the skin and simply disappear.
There will be some redness, tenderness and swelling around the treated area immediately after the procedure. You might also feel an itching sensation. All side effects from wrinkle fillers should subside after a couple of hours.
Treatment with dermal fillers shouldn’t hurt. Most fillers include an added anaesthetic, meaning the treatment is virtually pain-free. We can also use topical local anaesthetic to minimise your discomfort as we administer the dermal filler with ultrafine needles. After treatment, you may experience some tenderness around the affected area, but this is temporary.
