Do you have any lines and wrinkles around your mouth? Do you notice your make-up leaking? Or maybe you feel your lips are just thin and want to plump them? We can treat lip and mouth lines with dermal fillers for an instantly revitalised look.
Dermal fillers provide a natural way to enhance your lips, giving you the fullness and shape you desire. Even small changes can make a big difference, as we can use small injections of dermal filler to lift sad mouth corners and bring back your happy smile. Lip fillers can give you beautifully youthful and natural-looking results that last for up to nine months.

Consultation
During your initial consultation, we discuss your goals and assess your lips to ensure you are suitable for treatment. Before your procedure, we clean your lips and apply numbing cream or local anaesthetic to ensure your comfort
Filler treatment
We carefully inject the chosen lip filler, such as Restylane, into the carefully planned areas of your lips. It is strategically placed to achieve the desired volume, shape and symmetry.
Sculpting & results
We gently massage or mould the filler to ensure an even distribution and natural look. Your results are visible immediately, so we make sure you are happy and give some aftercare tips.

Find out moreLip fillers, which are usually made from hyaluronic acid, work by adding volume and hydration to your lips. This carefully injected gel enhances your shape, defines the border, and creates a fuller, more balanced pout that looks completely natural.
We do everything to ensure your comfort during the treatment. Our lip fillers contain a local anaesthetic, and we can also apply a numbing cream beforehand. This means you should only feel a slight pinch or some pressure during the injections, and remain comfortable throughout.
The treatment itself is relatively quick and efficient. After a consultation to discuss your desired look, the injections typically take between 15 and 30 minutes, allowing you to easily fit the appointment into your day.
You’ll notice an immediate enhancement in the volume and shape of your lips following treatment. There may be some initial swelling, but your final, beautiful results will be fully visible within a few days.
When a reputable product is used, such as the fillers we use at Aesthetics@68, lip fillers should last anything up to 18 months. Top-up treatments are available to help you maintain your results.
Lip fillers are not permanent, and can be dissolved and reversed if you are unhappy with your results. The temporary nature of lip filler results can be an advantage, as you have the chance to opt for a different look with your next treatment if you prefer.
Avoid caffeine for about 24 hours before your procedure and avoid other foods or drinks that have a dehydrating tendency, as this could slow the healing process. It’s a good idea to reduce your salt intake for a couple of days before your appointment, especially if you’re getting dermal filler.
Do not apply lipstick or any other makeup on and around your lips for 24 to 48 hours after the treatment.
Although rare, there can be minor side effects associated with lip fillers. These can include temporary swelling, bruising, redness, or discomfort at the injection site. These effects usually subside within a few days.
